Animal Kingdom and Epcot One-Day Happy Family Touring Plan

Animal Kingdom 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

Epcot 9 a.m.- 9 p.m.

Animal Kingdom

1. Arrive 25 min. prior to Animal Kingdom opening.

2. As soon as park opens get fastpasses for Expedition Everest in Asia.  Fastest way to Everest is through Asia, not DinoLand.  Asia 15

3. FAMILY:  Ride Dinosaur in Dino Land U.S.A. 21

4.  FAMILY: Ride Triceratop Spin.  Dino Land 20

5. FAMILY: Ride Primeval Whirl in DinoLand U.S.A. 19

6.  FAMILY: Take a Ride on the Kali River Rapids in Asia.  You will get soaked.  Asia 14.

7.  FAMILY:  Take the Maharaja Jungle Trek in Asia.  Asia 13

8.  FAMILY:  Ride Expeditions Everest using Fastpasses obtained Earlier.  Asia 15

9.  FAMILY: Get Fastpasses for Kilimanjaro Safaris.  Africa 6

10.  Lunch

11.  FAMILY:  Ride Kilimanjaro Safaris.  Africa 6

12.  Exit Animal Kingdom

Epcot

13.  FAMILY: Get fastpasses for soaring (future world west The Land), test track (Future World East 4), Mission: space (future world East 3), and Sum of all Thrills (Future world East 5)

14. FAMILY: Ride Spaceship Earth near park Entrance

15. FAMILY:  Ride Soarin, test track, Mission: Space, and Sum of all Thrills when it says on the Fastpass.

16. FAMILY:  Take a walk starting with Mexico and see the World Showcase.

17.  FAMILY:  When at Norway Pavilion ride Maelstrom boat ride.

18.  Dinner.

19.  FAMILY:  See Illuminations.  Excellent view locations are along the walkway near Canada and United Kingdom.  9:00 p.m.

Here is where doing a park hopper makes it more difficult.  I could only get three fast passes at one park per day.  I chose Epcot and got the fastpasses for soaring, Spaceship Earth, and Mission: Space.  We didn't have time to do any DinoLand U.S.A. rides and we couldn't get Jungle Trek in.  The lines weren't long but we had a family dispute about who would ride Expedition Everest.   The line for Kilimanjaro Safaris was very long so when that was over it was time to go.  Our first fast past for Epcot started at lunch time so we had to get over there.  We were able to use all the fastpasses at Epcot but we didn't ride Sum of all Thrills or the Maelstrom boat ride.  It was really hot walking around the World Showcase so we were done after walking around it.  We went back to the hotel after doing a little shopping.  We ate some dinner and got ready to go back to Magic Kingdom.    We went back at around 9:00 p.m. to see the parade and fireworks show.  The light parade was canceled at 9:00 but the fireworks show was amazing at 9:45 p.m.  After the show we road Peter Pan and it's a Small world one last time.  On our way out of the park we caught the 11:00 p.m. light parade.  We chose Magic Kingdom night shows over Illuminations in Epcot.  Amazingly full and exciting day.  The rides at Epcot were my favorite!
