Nothing Better Than Family
I didn't take many pictures of school activities this week, but I did get some great ones of a fall day in the leaves. I love raking up the leaves and playing with the kids in them. We had a wonderful evening throwing leaves in the air and hiding in them. I LOVE family FUN!!!

Fun Times
We have had a great week. It's been fun going to some Halloween activities and enjoying time together as a family. We were able to spend a day with dad, going to see Planes in the cheap theater, and walking around the mall. It's been a while since we've gone out to the mall.
Halloween was great. We went to every house on our street. It was great to meet the people on our street and the kids came back with buckets overflowing with candy. We also took a trip to the Library this week and the kids got some fun books to enjoy. The girls love animals so they filled up a basket with animal books. Yesterday we planned Aubrey's birthday party at the Zoo. It's going to be so much fun. Can't wait for the new week and the adventures it will bring.

We've had a great couple of days. We did a lot of fun things yesterday and today we went shopping, worked on pumpkins, dressed up, and surprised dad when he got home from work. We knew he wouldn't be able to spend time with us for the Halloween holiday so we made our own holiday with him. We turned off the lights, lit candles, and made scary noises when he came in the door. Then we jumped out of our hiding places all dressed in our Halloween best. Then the Lion Tamer (me) put a lion's mane on him and painted his face like a lion. We had a lot of fun. We did caramel apples and carved a few pumpkins. It was a lot of fun. I love making memories.

We had a great day today. We had a few meltdowns but for the most part the day was full of learning. I especially loved seeing my daughters on the piano. Aubrey is learning a simple version of "Away in a Manger." She played the first part of the song today and added in some of the left hand. She loved it. Autumn is learning "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." She did a great job starting to learn it today.
